    It's hard to say goodbye
Well, thats all she wrote, ladies and gents. mr_j_rizzle and all its glory are on MySpace now. The blog on that deal is gonna be the same as this one, so if there are any avid readers of my lj(which I doubt but I figured I'd throw it out there), go to my space. It's been a good run.

    Peace and much love.

I'm not in a hardcore writing mood nowadays, so this is gonna be kinda short. I stayed up all night typing a paper, and I need to crash for a bit if I'm gonna drink tonight.

    The semester is over. Finally.

I'm probably gonna try and come home tomorrow. Gonna stay for a week, and come back for Electroclash at the Metro.

That's the 28th for those of you who are interested.

So Nancy transferred to Colorado State, which sucks. You gotta do what you gotta do, though. She'll be missed. I seriously hope she meets Lindsay, one of my friends from spring break.

Speaking of Lindsay, I haven't talked to her in forever. Maybe I'll e-mail her...

Quick shoutout to all the H-F people that showed up to chill last week. And to Mike for that kickass party in Joliet. Both were good times.

That's it I guess. I'm gonna try to come home tomorrow, so brace yourselves.

One other quick thing: I'm kinda over Live Journal. I'm hearing good things about My Space, so I'll probably end up migrating there once I get some free time. Haha J-Rizzle must live on!

    Alright I'm gone. Peace.

    Football? Fuck it.
Yeah. Another of my picks is getting beat as we speak, so I'm pretty much over the playoffs now. NFC sucks anyways so I'm basically waiting for the Patriots, Colts, or Steelers to win th Super Bowl.

This is obviously a waste of space, but I had money and 6 packs riding on a lot of these games, and I'm gonna have to pay up big time.

    Fucking sports.

Yo. Whats goin on folks? Sorry the posting is kind of sporatic nowadays. I haven't been doing a whole lot lately, thus I didn't have a whole lot to write about. Plus, finals are in a couple weeks, and the J-Man is a die-hard procrastinator. So I've been woring hardcore all week. Shoutout to all of my teachers for having chill policies on late work. Well, except for Fiction. I am over my absence limit and will probably end up failing it. My counselor said that one F won't do much to my transcripts if all my other grades are good, but I'm pretty sure telling that to my parents won't smooth the situation over a whole lot. Whatever, though. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! On that glorious friday evening, I

-Got really drunk off of good liquor

-Watched the fireworks at Grant Park

-Walked around the Hilton and pretended to be a superstar

Word. I'm sure most of you know about Myk pimpin all the gay guys that were at my apartment that night, and seen the pictures. I think I was passed out by then, but props to him.

Yesterday was pretty chill. Drank some margaritas with the usual suspects. Knocked back a few beers. Some tequila. Haha I drank a TON yesterday. I met Karynne's friend Darcy, so shoutout to her. She's a very cool gal. Went home, drank some more beer, ate some pizza and passed out.

Today I followed my usual routine. 11 am sportcenter, shower, breakfast at Gormond, and work.

I need to type my philosophy paper. Later, people

Yeah...not a whole lot going on right now for the J-man. I'm pretty much chillin out to save my energy for tomorrow. Im gonna go roaming around here(the city), and eventually go back to my place, where there will be a fridge stocked with alcohol and a bunch of my friends.

Speaking of friends: Andrew's friends from Louisiana suck. Very rude, and posessive. If he doesn't end up hanging out tomorrow, I'm pretty sure they will be why.

But enough of that. And this, now that I think about it. I really don't feel like typing anymore. Think I'm gonna support my nicotine habit and make some calls to see who's back around.

    Stay cool, ladies and gents.

    Christmas time is here...
Yeah. And I still haven't finished shopping. I should probably leave in a lil bit, though I'm pretty sure it won't make that much of a difference. This is like the worst day to shop. Damn. Anyway, I'm looking ahead to New Years. I think my resolution is going to have 3 parts to it:

    a) Quit smoking

    b) Focus on school more

    c) SHOP AHEAD OF TIME NEXT CHRISTMAS

I'm also having people over to my apartment. Its gonna be like an after party deal, cuz I'm gonna try to find something to do in the city. SO if anyone wants to stop by, hit me up. Thats a lil bit away, though. However, I am going ice skating on the 27th or 28th. If anyone else wants to join the posse, hit me up about that too.

    Word.

I'm out. I'll post the usual holiday message tomorrow.

Well theres not a whole lot going on nowadays. Just homework and hanging out. I played pool yesterday for a couple hours with Andrew, Matt, Bernard, Erin, and some guy named Christian. Then Bernard and Erin left, so Andrew, Matt and myself smoked a shitload of weed and watched Resovoir Dogs. It was a pretty big buzzkill cuz its so dramatic, but we couldn't do the Dark Side of the Rainbow thing cuz Andrew couldn't get a hold of a CD player.

Side Note: If you watch Wizard of Oz while playing Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd, the movie and the album are supposed to sync up, thus Dark Side of the Rainbow.

    Word.

So yeah. That was my Monday. I have no clue what I'm doing tonight. I still need to christmas shop, and I need to go back downtown and get my charger. My phones dead right now, so if anyone needs to get a hold of me, hit up Andrew or Bernard.

That's it from me. See ya whenever.

    PEOPLE ARE VISITING ME TODAY!!!
Survey Says: The J-man is hella excited. Lindsay and Nick for sure, and maybe Bernard and Jeremy. Haha hopefully we won't have a repeat of the last time an H-F reunion took place, and by repeat I mean everyone puking all over the place.

So I got out of English an hour early, which was amazing. My teacher didn't get my paper though, which sucks. Gotta e-mail it again because he doesn't go on Oasis, and I don't blame him. It really sucks. The first time I checked it was a couple of days ago, and apparently I owe Columbia a 50 dollar fine for not being up to date on my shots, which I am so I don't know what thats about. My mom is pissed. I don't really care all that much.

Speaking of Columbia, I need to register for class. I have until February, but I don't wanna get stuck in shitty classes for next semester.

In Other News:Umm...I have philosophy in an hour and a half. I have a test...

    PS: Gangstarr is amazing.

I'm gonna shoutout Alison, cuz she gave me free coffee yesterday at Gormond. And a cookie.

I don't know what the hell is going on in the rec room, but it sounds ridiculous, like karaoke or some shit. I dunno. To make a long story short its really bothering me. Annoying and such.

Anyway, today has been pretty decent. Woke up a lil hung over from the Tequila from Tuesday. Haha it was Mexican night. I just threw on clothes and dragged myself to Fiction class. My teacher is doing some reading tomorrow, and he offered to buy whoever shows up a drink. It sounds cool, but drinking with a teacher just seems like such a wierd experience. I'm definitely thinking about it, though. So after that, I went back to the apartments and went to Mcdonalds with Reggie, Pat and Mike. Today was 49 cent cheeseburger day,and it was amazing. I ate soo much bad food today it wasn't even funny. Then I hung out in Alinas for a bit before I had to go to English class, which was a breeze. Shoutout to Mr. Rob Simoncini for being a cool guy.

Then, I came home and passed out for a bit. I was supposed to go to Hokin Annex and meet some woman about writing for one of Columbia's publications, but I was sooo tired. Thank God for E-mail, I suppose.

In Other News: I'm coming home in 3 days. 3 DAYS!!! Don't front. You know you're excited.

I just wrote a pretty decent entry, but the computer lab fucked it up.
Word. With all the fucking money we pay, you would think they could get the dates right on the computers.

    Christ.

Anyway, the jist of what I posted was that my break starts on the 20th. I'll probably be back in Flossmoor on Friday or Saturday, so all you crazy fools need to hit me up.

I'm gonna send a shoutout to Mandy. Havn't talked to that girl in ages. We are DEFINITELY hanging out over break.

Yeah...thats about it for now. I'm not even gonna try to type all that shit over.

I should be typing a paper instead of this...
Yeah, so yesterday Andy had a party for his birthday. Ryan and Nick called me earlier to drink with them, but I wasn't trying to catch the train. Plus, it's free liquor in my building, so whatever. Or at least I thought it was whatever. Here's the short conversation that kind of sent me over the edge.

    Andy-So, you guys wanna drink?

    Justin/Skylar-Yea, man!

Andy-Ok, I'm gonna need some money.

The fuck? After all the times hes been to my place, and drank my(and my friends) liquor for free. Needless to say, I was a little pissed, just because of general principle. So I talk to Byron, which was basically me bitching and him going "Dude, it's his birthday, he shouldn't have to pay." Which is true, BUT if he didn't want to pay he shouldn't have. Or if we were going to pool in, then we should have just done that shit ahead of time as opposed to having a guise of free liquer with an "Oh, by the way" type charge at the end. I dunno. Whatever.

Anyway, I kept talking to Byron, and he said that there was a little bit of pent up aggression that was pissing me off more than the whole alcohol situation, and that's probably true. Getting blown off by a girl that you're into is definitely not a good way to start the night.

Man, that really sucked. Its basically a situation where I'm better off not giving a shit, even though I do. A LOT. Girls+mind games=NOT COOL.

Word. I did see Brian Wheeler though, so shoutout to him. He's finally back from Arizona. When me and Pat left Byron's, he decided to stay and chill out with Andy and his brothers, which was a little weird considering that he met them that night. Not really concerned about that, though. I'm also gonna shouout Andy's brothers. Both of them were really cool. But yeah, that was basically my Saturday.

Today has been...decent. Woke up, showered, got dressed, and went to Gormond to get some food. Ran into Lee, Tim, and Zach. So we chilled a bit. We were supposed to go to the Art Institute, but that never happened. I'll probably end up chilling with all those guys tonight though so it's all good.

Well, it will be if I finish this damn paper.

Speaking of which, yeah...definitely need to get started on that. See ya when I see ya.

I should have stayed at home yesterday.
Word. No need to even harp on why, but I would have had a much better night if I would've just chilled out in Flossmoor and partied at Matt's. I'm gonna shout him out for the hell of it, and also Erin, cuz she was at Matt's and I hadn't seen her in awhile.

In Other News: I can't wait until winter break, when I finally have more than a couple days to see everyone. December definitely came with the quickness. I dunno. Erin being at Matt's made me feel very nostalgic all of a sudden. I miss having constants, people and things that are exactly what they are with no surprises or anything. There are too many variables in my life right now. Anyway, I'm putting a master plan together to get everyone out here, and if it works out how I think it will, it's going to be epic.

Mandatory "I'm drunk and bored" Post
Yeah, so I just got back from my buddy Nicks place about a half hour ago. I am starting to sober up, but I want to keep my buzz so I figured I'd pop a bottle of wine open.

    Bad idea. It's really terrible.

I am surprised at my parents. Usually they go all out when they buy alcohol because they don't drink that often. Yuck. This merlot is AFWUL.

    Word.

Things definitely turned out to be lot more interesting than I thought. For starters, I almost got stabbed. By one of my friends no doubt. Survey Says: HELLA sketchy. I might go into more detail about that later, but for right now all I'll say is this: It's all about NOT getting drunk with Rasheed.

Anyway, overall I had a good night. I saw my friends Steve and Matt, who along with Nick I have know since 5th grade. Big shoutout to them. I also met a bunch of cool UIC kids, and I have a feeling that we will have a few crazy times before the year is over. Last but not least, I got to hung out with the lovely Lindsay again. Since I havn't hung out with her much in the past couple of years, I forgot how cool she is. Definitely can't wait to see her again.

Right now, Rasheed is passed out drunk on my loveseat with Bob following his lead on my couch. Andrew and I are finishing up some Thanksgiving leftovers. My mom, dad, and brother are going to Orlando on Monday for my brother's football tournament. SO, if we don't eat it, it will probably go to waste.

In Other News: This Death Cab for Cutie CD that I am trying to Download/burn is taking forever.

I need to pass out. Catch ya later.

Well, as I predicted, yesterday was really fun, which is probably why today is shitty.

Word. I'm so hung over that I feel like negative a million bucks. Im totally serious.

I got back to my building around nine, and I brought Andrew with me. His parents were bitching about him coming downtown to chill, so he told them he was sleeping at my house. It was basically true. He just lied about which house. Anyway, we went to my room, watched football, and waited for everyone to get to my place.

Nick and Kaitlyn didn't come, and that kinda sucked. HOWEVER, I did see Randi and Lindsay, which was AWESOME. I havn't seen either of those gals in forever, so shoutout to them. Randi's boyfriend Dave was also there, and hes a cool guy. Pachmeyer and his friend Cory came. SUPER late mind you, but at least they showed up. Umm...Myk and Skylar were over, and I definitely need to hang out with them more. I even ended up doing shots with my roommate Gilbert, who I havn't partied with since I've been here cuz I'm always in the room and hes always out and about. I lost track after my fourth or fifth drink, but I think we killed a handle and a half of vodka. Needless to say, it was a very interesting night. Here are the highlights.

-Me getting drunk with Lindsay for the first time EVER

-Lindsay puking in the bathtub and Skylar puking in the toilet at basically the same time

-Andrew talking on his phone, and then puking for the first time ever from being drunk(This was seriously ridiculous. He was literally just sitting in a chair talking on his phone, and BAM. All over the place. I'm still in the process of getting the puke stain/smell out of the living room.)

-Me getting bitched at by a security guard and some dumb RA for letting one of my friends in without showing their key card.

-Myk and Gilbert leaving in the middle of the night, and Gilbert coming back in the morning with hickeys.

By the end of the night, everyone was passing out on the floor wherever they could find room. I woke up on the couch, surrounded by people and hungover as fuck. I still am. This is the most productive thing I've done all day, besides cleaning up the puke. I've just been sleeping and bumming around my room. At least I don't have class to worry about.

    Word.

Alright, I'm done with this. See ya when I see ya.
